Do I need to know how to write software to use AppBlender?
Nope! We do all the hard work of creating apps and all you have to do is fill-in-the-blanks, push "Blend" and in moments, you'll have an application, ready-to-sell.
Am I allowed to sell the software I create if I unsubscribe?
Part of the agreement with AppBlender is that you will stay subscribed to the service if you wish to sell the software. If you cancel your subscription with AppBlender, we ask that you stop selling the software. If you want to continue selling the software, contact us for an exit agreement where you can sign-up to continue selling the software.
If I unsubscribe, will my customers no longer be able to use the software?
Nope, there is no reason for us to get involved in a previous relationship between you and your clients.
How manys apps do you have available?
We regularly add applications to our core library. But keep in mind that with FlexDatabase™, it's possible to create thousands of applications from one core application.
How does FlexDatabase™ work?
FlexDatabase™ allows you to add data to any of the software products you create. For instance, let's say you take our core app, QuickResponsePro. QuickResponsePro allows customers to create small text templates they can quickly use in programs, such as email. So let's say you want to create an application that explain 35 yoga poses. You can easy add or inject these yoga poses into QuickResponsePro using FlexDatabase™.
How do FlexAds™ work?
Inside of each AppBlender app is an ad area. Two ads are shown at a time and they hold for bit and then more ads cycle in. A total of 10 slots are available. The are text ads and you can use any copy you'd like and any URL you'd like, such as additional products you may offer, a newsletter and so on. You can update the ads inside you app anytime you'd like.
How are ads updating in applications after they've been downloaded?
Each time an application is started up, it communicates with AppBlender servers and downloads your current set of ads. So you can update your ads to reflect any new products or services you have available and the next time your customer opens their application, they will see these new ads.
Do I have to use ads in my apps?
Nope. You decide whether or not your customers will see your ads.
How long does it take to create an application?
You can create an application in as little as 60 seconds. However, one of the big advantages of using AppBlender™ is the level of customization you get when you build applications. However, we recommend that folks spend some time customizing their applications. You'll want to spend time coming up with a name, additional mast graphics, icons, content you want to pre-load into the app, ads you'd like to add, custom buttons and so forth.
What happens to ads if I unsubscribe?
If you unsubscribe from our service, AppBlender will begin serving its own ad directory. If you are interested in buying this inventory from us, please let us know on the contact page.
In what way can I sell my software?
You can sell the software outright, bundle it with existing products or even give it away for free. It's your software, you can use it in any way you'd like.
Can I create branded software for others?
If you go to Fred's Flower Shop and offer to build him an application for a flat-rate that includes resale rights, you are welcome to do this. However, you cannot offer an online "service" to do this for others. We actively monitor build logs and we eject folks from the program if we find them doing this.
Can I give my software away for free?
Yes, you are welcome to give away software you create with AppBlender for free?
Am I competiting with other subscribers with this software?
Because AppBlender™ is so flexible in the branding of your software and because you have access to FlexDatabase for many of our applications, you won't be competing directly with anyone else. You might create '101 Wedding Tips' and John Doe might create 'Javascript Snippets' all from the same core application. Obviously, there is no competition between those two apps.
